ATMOSPHERIC LOADING DISPLACEMENTS

Abstract. A method for calculating of the Earth's surface displacements due to atmospheric loading effect is presented. The load displacements are calculated by the expansion coefficients of the surface atmospheric pressure fields of the European ERA5 reanalysis project for the spherical functions, as well as the load Love numbers that we calculated earlier. The obtained time series of displacements along three axes (vertical, in the direction to the north and east) are compared with the works of other authors.
